Championship Update - 2026

Mustache Bandits Go Back-to-Back in a Playoff Finish for the Ages

The road to the 2026 BAD Bowling championship came down to one final night, one final game, and, fittingly, one final frame.

After a regular season full of tight standings, shifting playoff hopes, and more than a few “wait, was this my beer?” moments, the postseason delivered exactly what everyone hoped for: drama, chaos, and a championship decided by almost nothing.

Round 1: The Cut Gets Cruel

The playoffs opened with all six teams on the lanes and only three spots available in the championship match.

For the Hambone Heroes, it was a familiar position. For the second straight season, they entered the playoffs as the No. 1 seed, looking like a team built for a deep run. But bowling has a funny way of ignoring the script. Despite a strong regular season and another top-seeded finish, the Heroes…

Week 5 Update/Playoff Preview

Week 5 Recap / Playoff Preview

What’s up, turkeys?

The regular season is officially in the books, and Week 5 gave us one last shake-up before the lights get brighter tonight.

The biggest team performance of the final regular-season night came from Mustache Bandits, who posted the top score of Week 5 with a huge 2,023 net. Right behind them, Hambone Heroes finished with 1,993, Marco Bowlo came in at 1,991, and Bowling Stones made a final push with 1,984.

But the individual star of Week 5 was Mike Grasela, who delivered when it mattered most. Grasela rolled a 181 scratch / 245 net in Game 1, followed it up with a 144 scratch / 208 net in Game 2, and finished with a massive 453 net series to earn Week 5 MVP honors.

And while Week 5 had its own MVP, the season-long crown belongs to Dan Goldsbury.

Week 4 Recap / Week 5 Preview

FINAL NIGHT OF THE REGULAR SEASON: SOMEBODY'S GOING HOME TONIGHT

Your completely unbiased, highly professional bowling correspondent is back with the Week 4 breakdown and a very important message: it's crunch time, turkeys.

After four weeks of hurling balls down oiled hardwood, the standings have tightened, the stakes have never been higher, and tonight — TONIGHT — we close the books on the regular season. One team is about to have a very long drive home.

Week 4 belonged to Spare Parts, who didn't just win — they made a statement. A threat. A "don't test us" energy that frankly the rest of the league should take personally. Their 2071 net pins was the best two-game total of the week; they pocketed the top overall bonus, and they now sit alone in first place with 96 total points. MVP of the week? Glennon Montgomery, who went absolutely nuclear with a…
