Week 2 Update - 2025
Week 2 scores are up on the website!
The Hambone Heroes remain undefeated after a gritty win over Marco Bowlo. Mike Connolly powered the team with a league-leading 454 net, earning Week 2 MVP honors—nice rolling, Mike! Not far behind were strong performances from Jeff Marois (437 net) and Brian Kokernak (405). The Heroes now sit alone atop the standings with 10 points.
Elsewhere around the league:
Spare Parts posted the highest team net total of the week with 2079, led by Derek Welch (432 net) and Joe Carter (422). However, it was only enough to earn them 3 points, as the Bowling Stones bounced back in Game 2. Still, both teams are now on the scoreboard.
Nolan Moon (Bowling for Soup) rolled a monster 447 net, vaulting his name up the stat sheet.
Mark Wilkie (Marco Bowlo) and Mike Schilling continued their consistent play, each putting up 400+ net series again this week—but it wasn't enough to take down the Heroes.
Mustache Bandits came back to earth after a dominant Week 1, but Brandon Trafka still leads the league MVP race with 857 total net pins, and teammate James Dunoyer sits close behind with 852.
Who Do You Think You Are? I AM! bounced back in a big way, putting up 1998 net pins behind strong, steady games from Maeve Mudie, Nora Reidy, and Harry Gauthier. Every bowler on the squad cleared 375 net—a solid team effort that helped them get their first points of the season.
The Tiger Daddies also got in the win column, powered by Jude Senese and Lawson Clarke, both posting 396+ net. They edged out Bowling for Soup in a tight matchup and now sit in 5th place with a little momentum on their side.
Please remember, we are back on the lanes next week, April 2nd! See you then.
