Hey hey! Week 2 has come and gone and we are moving into the heart of the regular season. Handicaps are adjusting for most of us in week 3. Veterans need 4 scores recorded before their handicap adjusts. And remember - if you had your score dropped it does not count against your average or handicap. Rookies' handicaps have already been updated.

As a reminder, we DO NOT bowl tonight. Week 3 will be April 17th.

Tiger Daddies and The Bowling Stones are on fire, maintaining undefeated seasons with consecutive 5-point sweeps!

The Bowling Stones laid the smackdown on the Pinhead Larrys, led by stellar performances from Sean Westgate and Liz Lazuzon. Liz was the top bowler for the Stones and now ascends to the top spot in the ROTY rankings! Keep it up, Liz! This is not the start that the Pinhead Larrys were hoping for, but they're gearing up to stage a comeback next week, poised to take on Split Happens.

The Tiger Daddies also kept their clean season going with a 5-0 win over the Hambone Heroes. Or should I say the pre-bowl heroes? You guys made Jeff, the current MVP of the league, bowl completely solo? No wonder you guys lost! That's cold. Hopefully, the Hambones will be back in action IN PERSON next week as they take on the 2023 champs - Mustache Bandits. As for the Tiger Daddies, they will try to stay undefeated against 9's or Die in week 3.

Marco Bowlo finally racked up some crucial points in a back-and-forth battle against the Bowl Movements. The first game saw Marco Bowlo dominate the lanes, led by Mark Wilkie's impressive scratch 177, net 256. However, the Bowl Movements weren't about to concede defeat easily. In game 2, Kevin O'Sullivan and Glennon Montgomery took charge, delivering outstanding net scores of 256 and 222 respectively, leading their team to a well-deserved victory. Luckily Marco Bowlo had done enough in game 1 to earn the overall bonus point and the 3-2 win.

In the battle of the underdogs, both Split Happens and 9's or Die found themselves without a win in week 1. However, week 2 was a new opportunity and someone was posting some points! Kicking off with a standout performance was week two's MVP, Jonathan Tonis of Split Happens. It seems Jonathan just needed some time to find his rhythm, as he rolled an impressive scratch score of 121, net 242, leading his team to a crucial victory. But it wasn't over yet! Sean Harrison of 9's or NEVER SAY DIE made a hell of a comeback, rolling a turkey and securing the highest net score of the night with an impressive 262, clinching the win for game 2. Ultimately, Split Happens emerged victorious, claiming the overall point and securing a hard-fought 3-2 win.

Finally, it was the Mustache Bandits vs. Who Do You Think You Are? I AM! The Bandits came out on top in game one thanks to a solid overall performance across the board plus a little bonus Turkey action from their sub, Brandon. Watch out, Funk! I think you have some competition. However, the tides shifted in game two thanks to a career-high scratch 84, net 233 from Nora Reidy! We have some footage of Nora rolling her final strike of the night. Who do you think you are, Nora? I AM! Damn it! Nora led her team to victory game 2 but in the end, the Bandits took the overall point for a 3-2 victory.
