What's up, turkeys?

The pins have dropped and week 2 is in the books. Rather than go through each match-up this week, here are the highlights.

Fernando Pino - Week 2 MVP

Another week, and another MVP from the Hambone Heroes squad. Can you guys give another team a turn? Sheesh. This week's award belonged to Fernando Pino with net scores of 224 and 234! Those stellar scores helped the Hambone Heroes sweep the previously undefeated 9s or Die while moving them up into 3rd place. Congrats, Fern for being most valuable.

Tiger Daddies Take the Lead

It was the clash of the former champions as the Pre-bowl Daddies faced off against Marco Bowlo. Jeremy Strege kept Marco Bowlo alive in game one, but it wasn't enough to hold off Penn Clarke and the Daddies. They took game two and the overall total giving them a 3-2 win. The victory has given them the early season lead in the standings.

Let this be a lesson to everyone.. Maybe you're not having the best bowling night. Maybe the pins seem to be laughing as they watch your ball roll by in the gutter. But it's never too late to turn it around. Through a game and a half, it wasn't exactly an all-star performance for James Dunoyer. It wasn't until the 8th frame in game 2 when James Dunoyer knocked down his first strike of the night. Ok cool, cool. But he wouldn't stop there. A strike in the 9th, followed by a 10th-frame turkey, gave James a whopping 5 consecutive strikes! Yahtzee, baby! Congrats James, on a great finish. After falling in game one, the Bandits took game 2 easily and sit in 4th place.
